Jamie

is an experienced Broadcaster/Journalist, having worked for the BBC and Sky Sports News during his career.

Whilst working for BBC Radio from 1999 to 2007, he covered a number of top-class events in his role as Sports Reporter and Commentator. These included international and FA Cup football, the Football League Play-Offs, Test match and One-Day International Cricket as well as the prestigious Twenty20 Cup. During his time with the BBC, Jamie was named Shepherd Neame Kent Sports Journalist of the Year.

He has also worked for Gillingham Football Club as Head of Media & Publications. During his time with the Gills, Jamie achieved the highly-regarded Football League Programme of the Year accolade. He currently works as Head of Media & Communications for Kent County Cricket Club and acts as Events MC at their Twenty20 Cup matches.

Jamie is also proving popular as a voiceover artist, working with several clients across the south of England.

 

Jamie works closely with Karl Steptoe who made the successful switch from a PGA golf professional to a qualified psychologist. He specialises in sport, developing innovative programmes to achieve the unique and specific goals of sportsmen.
