Jamie has been gracing the airwaves for more than 10 years, presenting sports bulletins in London and the south east. He has also presented numerous radio programmes and news bulletins for BBC Radio. If you listen to the radio, you'll have probably heard his dulcet tones.

Burscough

November 2005 - FA Cup first round - Burscough v Gillingham at Victoria Park

As a sports journalist, your toughest work is often when things go against the team you are covering. On behalf of BBC Radio Kent, Jamie covered the first round FA Cup tie between Burscough and Gillingham at Victoria Park. Non league Burscough shocked the Gills, beating them 3-2. The defeat was disastrous for the Kent club and supporters were calling for the head of then manager Neale Cooper during the closing stages. After the game, Jamie gained an exclusive interview with Gills chairman Paul Scally and asked him about Cooper's future. He also spoke to the manager to find out whether he intended to fight on. Both interviews show Jamie's ability to quickly think on his feet and carry-out interviews live on location.
